The Show Had To Go On
In 2020, COVID-19 brought productions around the world to a standstill. But for Chris Sun and Slaughter FX, the show had to go on.
Teaming up with executive producer Mark Gardener from Nexus Files Studios, Chris embarked on his fifth feature film. Produced in collaboration with Ozpix Entertainment, Giddy Up Films and Nexus Files Studios, The Possessed was inspired by actual events and explored the terrifying world of demonic possession.
Making a feature during a pandemic brought enormous logistical challenges, but the team pushed forward, taking Chris's filmmaking into supernatural territory while keeping the practical FX traditions that define Slaughter FX.
Inspired by actual events. Made against the odds.
Mummy's Little Girl: Bringing Back The Barbed Wire
Fourteen years after Daddy's Little Girl, Chris is returning to revenge horror with Mummy's Little Girl, starring Simone Buchanan and John Jarratt, with Steve Boyle and Formation Effects on practical FX.
There's no studio behind it. The film is being made with the support of horror fans.
