Die-Hard Horror Fans, We Need You.
No studio. No one telling us we've gone too far. Just filmmakers, horror fans and one seriously pissed-off mother.

Strictly 18+ · Warning: uncompromising revenge horror · Adults only
This Film Is Being Made For Horror Fans.
- We don't want someone outside the film telling us the revenge goes too far.
- We don't want to be told to tone something down because it's too confronting.
- We don't want to make a safer version because it might be easier to sell.
Crowdfunding gives Chris and the team complete creative control, and the freedom to make the uncompromising revenge horror film we believe audiences want to see.
We're not interested in making the biggest-budget horror film. We're interested in making one that people fucking remember.

Every Dollar Goes On The Screen.
Mummy's Little Girl has a minimum production budget of approximately A$300,000. Our first goal is A$50,000. That's our first major target, not the finish line.
This film only exists if horror fans decide it should. Back it, and when Emily finally crosses that line, you'll know you helped put her there.

How Far Will A Mother Go?
Emily Richardson is a gentle, devoted mother whose world revolves around her fifteen-year-old daughter, Lily.
Then Lily disappears. When she is later found murdered, Emily's world is destroyed.
Despite an extensive investigation, no one is ever charged. With no answers and no justice, Emily is left to live with a loss that never stops consuming her.
Two years later, a chance encounter leads to a disturbing discovery that changes everything. Convinced the truth has been hiding in plain sight, Emily begins searching for the answers the justice system couldn't give her.
Grief becomes obsession.
Obsession becomes rage.
Somewhere along the way, the gentle, loving mother Emily once was begins to disappear. What takes her place is a woman prepared to cross a line she never imagined herself capable of crossing. Once she does, there may be no coming back.
First, We Want To Break Your Heart.
We want audiences to fall in love with Emily and Lily and feel the devastation of what happens to this family. If we do that properly, everything that follows becomes so much more powerful.
Then We Unleash Emily.
When grief becomes rage and Emily finally crosses that line, we want horror audiences right there with her. Brutal, confronting, shocking, and incredibly difficult to look away from.
The People We're About To Put Through Hell
Simone Buchanan
as Emily
One of Australia's most recognisable screen performers, with a career spanning more than four decades. Horror fans know her as Debbie in Chris Sun's Boar. As Emily she goes from warmth and vulnerability through heartbreak and rage to brutal revenge.
John Jarratt
as Robert
An icon of Australian cinema, known around the world for Wolf Creek, and a veteran of Chris Sun's Boar and The Possessed. Here he plays Emily's father, a man watching the people he loves endure the unimaginable.
Dan Ewing
as Dean
Known for Home and Away and the Netflix film Love and Monsters. We won't give away what's planned for Dean, but knowing Chris, Dan may want to enjoy himself while he still can.
Sofia Nunes
as Lily
Emily's teenage daughter and the emotional heart of the film. Sofia is an up-and-coming Sunshine Coast actress who first worked with Chris through film cadetships with the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective.
Alyson Joyce
as Sarah
Emily's best friend. Alyson's career spans more than 15 years across music, television and theatre, and she recently stepped into horror with Mother Knows Best.
Done For Real. On Set.
The knee crusher scene from Daddy's Little Girl. All practical, all on set.
If you know Chris Sun's films, you know practical effects are a huge part of them. Mummy's Little Girl will be no different.
Steve Boyle and the team at Formation Effects are back. Steve has been part of Chris's films from the beginning, creating monsters, corpses, creatures, prosthetics and one particularly enormous pig.
This time they have better resources, more experience and more ambitious plans, to take the practical revenge and torture sequences far beyond what was possible on Daddy's Little Girl fourteen years ago.
For horror fans, this is where things are going to get very interesting.
Chris Sun Goes Back To Where It Began
The writer and director behind Come and Get Me, Daddy's Little Girl, Charlie's Farm, Boar and The Possessed returns to raw, emotional, uncompromising revenge horror.
His creature feature Boar was released by Universal Pictures in Australia and by Shudder in the United States.
Several members of Chris's original filmmaking family are returning. There is history between the people making this film, and that experience and trust will be seen on screen.
