About Leah

FULL NAME: Leah Sanderson
AGE: 20

Leah Sanderson is a fun-loving and chirpy young woman who adores her friends and parties hard…until a reasonable hour when she simply must get her beauty sleep for tomorrows work day.

Physically, Leah has been described as; Classy, classic, slightly voluptuous, neutral, understated, well postured, pretty. In Laban terms she sits well balanced between a focused glide and a composed dab, with the occasional internal wringing. She is highly intelligent and a quick thinker, she sees through people but will not usually speak her true mind unless under the influence of her liquid power (alcohol).

Leah studies human psychology at Griffith University with the aspirations of one day working with crime scene investigators to help guide the victims/accused interviews etc. Currently, Leah works as a medium rank receptionist at the local psychologist’s office of Mr. Matthew Deikenshelker. She absolutely LOVES her job, although her talents are far beyond the work she is often handed, she looks up to the head psychologist immensely and is a sponge to all that he can teach her.

Unfortunately, there is a downside to being so brainy; Leah is trapped in her own mind. She thinks way too much and feels safer in her little mind cocoon than she does outwardly expressing her emotions. The girls (Shell, Suse and Gem- her besties) have helped her overcome these traits to a degree yet she remains shy to potential relationships with young suitors. She feels less confident than her girlfriends, less physically attractive, less funny, less coordinated- altogether less than. Her overall objective is to find the power in herself needed to find love, advance in her career and (inevitably) stay alive throughout the course of the film.

Having just moved into her own apartment on uni campus, Leah has a loving family at home. Her mother and father are still happily married, her mother a stay at home mum turned midwife and her father a medical scientist. She has had to put up with her older siblings taunts and achievements, Marco- the eldest a chief investigator and Katey- The middle child, the highly successful editor of vogue magazine.

Leah dreams of being a slimmer, sexier, more confident version of herself who can flirt…effectively and really go out and take what she wants from life- no exceptions. It all comes down to feeling that inner strength/ or power.

Likes:

  • Direction in life, plans, organization and strict schedules.

  • Cream buns, the long ones with the jam and cram in the centre- and it MUST be fresh cream!

  • Waking up after a peaceful night’s sleep- feeling rejuvenated.

  • When dogs are so excited that the cant work out if they want their mouths open or closed and they’re tongue just wobbles all over the place.

  • Babies toothy smiles and contagious giggles.

Dislikes:

  • Stuck up and arrogant people- fake people.

  • Rapists- hatred with a fiery passion.

  • People on the doll- because she works so hard in every aspect of her life and studying psychology she cannot forgive what she perceives as laziness and un-motivation.

  • Bad BO and uncleanliness

  • The perception of pole dancing as a sport.
